<Story>
I was going to visit her parents and their clan to formally announce our engagement.

"Our countryside is what you’d call an 'old-fashioned traditional village.' Don’t be surprised by anything."
"Are they going to make me do some kind of suspicious ritual or something?"
"They say it follows local legends. Like a young traveler who falls in love with the daughter of the sea god and then fights off demons or something along those lines."
"Wait a minute. You know my PE score is like 30, right? Isn’t that dangerous?"
"It should only be a little more than a test of courage. You just have to follow the instructions given by the youth association."
...
"You’re late! I almost became the sacrifice, you know!"
"I thought I was going to die. Just a Maglite and a staff weren’t nearly enough to keep me safe... So, what do I have to do next?"
"If you say you’re praying for a bountiful catch and a good harvest, and for the village’s prosperity, then you know what comes next."
"Doing that out here in the open like this..."
"Is there a problem? This area is a blind spot from the village side. No one can come until the tide recedes."
"Are those young people from earlier spying with infrared cameras from offshore?"
"Do you really think I would let such disrespectful people live to get back to shore?"
"What on earth are you pretending to be...?"
"By the way, if I’m not properly satisfied, the sea god will get angry and destroy this world, so you better remember that well and don’t disappoint me."

＜故事＞
我即將去拜訪她的父母和他們的家族，正式致意訂婚之事。

「我們這鄉下，可說是個『因習村』，不要被什麼嚇到了。」
「會不會被強迫做什麼奇怪的儀式？」
「據說是沿著地方傳說來的。像是有個旅人愛上了海神的女兒，然後對抗鬼怪之類的故事。」
「等等，你知道我的體育偏差值只有30吧？這不會很危險嗎？」
「應該只是稍微像個膽量考驗而已。只要照青年會的人指示做就好。」
……
「你遲到了！我差點就成了祭品呢！」
「我還以為自己會死。只有一支手電筒和一根棍子根本不夠……那接下來我該怎麼做？」
「只要說你在祈求豐收和村子的繁榮，接下來要做的事不就很明顯了？」
「在這麼開闊的地方做這種事……」
「有問題嗎？這裡是村子看不到的死角，潮水退了之前沒人能過來。」
「剛剛那些年輕人會不會在岸外用紅外線相機偷看？」
「你真的以為我會讓這種不敬的人活著回到岸上嗎？」
「你到底是在扮演什麼角色啊……？」
「順帶一提，要是我沒被好好滿足，海神大人可就要發怒，毀掉這世界喔，所以你可得牢牢記住這點，別讓我失望了。」
